 Proper Hanging & Pinning

Pinning

Please use safety pins only. Do not use straight pins.

Facing garment - pin tag to the upper right side.

If pinning will cause damage to the fabric, then pin tag to the garment's label.

For items priced $10 or more, once tag is pinned on the garment, please put tape over the safety pin securing it to the tag. This practice stops tag switching.

For items that could slip or be pulled off the hanger, please pin one shoulder to the hanger.

Use Clear Packing Tape for items that cannot be pinned. Do not use masking tape, duct tape or scotch tape.

Attach tag to item securely so it will stay on in the midst of excessive handling.

Tape the top of zip-lock bags shut to prevent items from slipping out and getting lost.

Shoes without laces or straps should be tied together with ribbon or raffia.

Please do not put shoes in plastic bags.

Hanging

Hanger opening should face to the left like a question mark ( ? ).

Hang shirts/tops, dresses & jackets on the hanger.

For sets; pin pants or skirt to back of shirt.

Pin pants or skirts to sloping arms of hanger. Do not pin to bottom of hanger as they will just slide back and forth. Do not fold pants over hanger.

All hangers are accepted.
